Terms of Use

By downloading, purchasing, or using UseUp, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
1. The service
UseUp is a personal kitchen organization tool that helps you record food, recognize package text, plan what to use, create shopping lists, and receive reminders. Features may change as the app improves.
2. Food-safety disclaimer
UseUp is not a food-safety, medical, nutrition, or professional advisory service. Recognized package text, dates, estimates, reminders, and suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Always check the original package, storage conditions, smell, appearance, official recalls, and guidance from qualified authorities. You are responsible for deciding whether food is safe to store, prepare, or consume.
3. Your content and acceptable use
You retain ownership of information and photos you add. You grant the app permission to process that content only as needed to provide its features. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in violation of law or another person's rights.
4. Free and Pro features
The free version includes up to 25 active tracked items. Pro provides unlimited active items and any other features clearly identified in the app. iCloud and local-notification availability also depend on Apple services, device settings, and your Apple Account.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
- Purchases are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Available plans and localized prices are shown before confirmation.
- Auto-renewable subscriptions renew for the displayed monthly or annual period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Apple charges your Apple Account at confirmation and within 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- One-time or lifetime access, when offered, applies to the features described at purchase and does not guarantee every unrelated future product or service.
- Refunds, billing disputes, taxes, and payment methods are handled under Apple's applicable terms and policies. Restorable purchases can be restored from the app.
6. Third-party services
UseUp depends on Apple services including the App Store, iCloud, camera, Vision, and local notifications, and uses RevenueCat to deliver purchase entitlements. Their availability and terms may affect the app. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not make UseUp responsible for those sites.
7. Availability, changes, and termination
We aim to keep UseUp reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, law, platform changes, or product operation. We may restrict use that violates these terms. You may stop using the service at any time; deleting the app does not itself cancel an Apple subscription.
8. Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UseUp is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, food spoilage, illness, missed reminders, lost data, or purchase decisions arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Apple-specific terms
These terms are between you and the UseUp developer, not Apple. The developer, not Apple, is responsible for the app, support, and claims relating to it, subject to applicable law. Your license is non-transferable and limited to Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including Family Sharing where applicable. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, to the extent required by its terms.
10. General terms
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to applicable government embargoes and are not on a prohibited or restricted-party list. Applicable law governs these terms without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections where you live. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date.

2. 食品安全免责声明
吃光光并非食品安全、医疗、营养或其他专业建议服务。包装识别结果、日期、估算、提醒和建议可能不完整或有误。请始终核对原包装、储存条件、气味、外观、官方召回信息及权威机构建议。是否储存、烹饪或食用某项食物，应由你自行判断并承担责任。
3. 你的内容与合理使用
你保留所添加信息和照片的所有权，并仅授权 App 为提供功能所需处理这些内容。不得滥用服务、干扰其运行、尝试未经授权的访问，或以违法及侵犯他人权利的方式使用。
4. 免费与 Pro 功能
免费版本最多可追踪 25 个活跃食材。Pro 提供无限活跃食材以及 App 中明确标注的其他功能。iCloud 和本地通知还取决于 Apple 服务、设备设置和你的 Apple 账户。
5. 购买与订阅
- 购买均通过 Apple App 内购买处理，确认前会显示可用方案和本地化价格。
- 自动续期订阅会按页面所示的月度或年度周期续期，除非你在当前周期结束至少 24 小时前取消。
- Apple 会在确认购买时以及续期前 24 小时内向你的 Apple 账户扣款。你可以在 Apple 账户的订阅设置中管理或取消。
- 如提供一次性或永久购买，其范围以购买时说明的功能为准，不代表获得所有无关的未来产品或服务。
- 退款、账单争议、税费和支付方式遵循 Apple 的适用条款与政策；可恢复的购买可在 App 内恢复。
6. 第三方服务
吃光光依赖 App Store、iCloud、相机、Vision、本地通知等 Apple 服务，并使用 RevenueCat 交付购买权益。这些服务的可用性和条款可能影响 App。第三方链接仅为方便提供，吃光光不对相关网站负责。
7. 可用性、变更与终止
我们会努力保持可靠，但不保证服务始终不中断或没有错误。因安全、法律、平台变化或产品运营需要，我们可合理更新、暂停或停止功能，并可限制违反条款的使用。你可随时停止使用；仅删除 App 并不会自动取消 Apple 订阅。
8. 保证与责任限制
在法律允许的最大范围内，吃光光按“现状”和“可用状态”提供，不作默示保证。对于因使用服务造成的间接、偶发、特殊或后果性损失、食物变质、健康问题、提醒遗漏、数据丢失或购买决定，我们不承担责任。法律不得排除的消费者权利和责任不受影响。
9. Apple 相关条款
本条款由你与吃光光开发者订立，而非与 Apple 订立。适用法律范围内，App、支持及相关索赔由开发者负责，Apple 无维护或支持义务。许可不可转让，仅限在你拥有或控制、且符合 Apple 媒体服务条款使用规则的 Apple 品牌设备上使用（包括适用的家人共享）。Apple 及其子公司是本条款的第三方受益人，有权执行本条款。如 App 不符合适用保证，你可通知 Apple；Apple 可在其条款要求范围内退还购买价格。
10. 一般条款
你确认自己不位于适用政府禁运地区，也不在禁止或限制交易名单中。适用法律管辖本条款，但不会剥夺你所在地强制性的消费者保护。如某条款不可执行，其余条款仍有效。我们可通过公布新的生效日期对条款作前瞻性更新。
